Bounding Main Land Cruise - Oct 20th!

topic posted Fri, September 21, 2007 - 11:27 AM by  Dean
Hey! Who wants to go on a cruise? A land cruise that is!

Oh, you know us so well. Bounding Main couldn’t possibly, ever, go on an actual cruise so we’re going on a land cruise! And where to? Nowhere water-based, I can tell you that.
How about we do what we do best and get lost? Not Lost at Sea, but rather lost in a corn maze. Nothing says ‘nautical adventure’ like climbing aboard a yellow school bus and heading out to a farm!

Join the crew as we sail along the roadways (instead of the waterways) and travel all the way up to Spring Grove, Illinois, to the Richardson’s Farm! Once there, we’ll get lost in a corn maze by the light of the moon. Oh, did we not mention that? We’re going to navigate the maze in the dark! Ha ha! How’s that for high adventure? After we find our way out (IF we find our way out) we’ll gather ‘round ye old campfire and sing songs and make s’mores. Mmmm, s’mores. None of that salty, rock-hard, tall-ship sailin’ food for us. After a hard night navigating, we’ll want soft marshmallow-y, chocolate-y type food ‘cuz that’s the kind of sailors we are.
